Technology & Surgical Facility

My Vision Eye Care is a dedicated eye surgical facility — not just a consulting clinic. From diagnosis to the operating table, your care runs on imported, calibrated equipment from Carl Zeiss (Germany), Alcon (USA), Topcon (Japan) and Heine (Germany).

What technology is used for cataract surgery here?

Cataract surgery at My Vision Eye Care is performed in a NABH-standard modular operating theatre using the Alcon Centurion Vision phacoemulsification system (USA) and a Carl Zeiss Lumera I surgical microscope (Germany). Lens power is measured with the Zeiss IOL Master 700 optical biometer for a precise, micro-incision, sutureless result.

The operating theatre

An ultramodern modular OT, built to NABH standards

At the heart of the facility is a fully modular operating theatre with a dedicated Air Handling Unit (AHU) that delivers the purest form of sterile, temperature-controlled air — the same air-quality standard laid down by NABH for surgical safety.

  • Dedicated Air Handling Unit for ultra-clean, sterile air
  • Temperature-controlled ventilation to NABH standard
  • A modular, easy-to-sterilise surgical environment
  • Designed to minimise the risk of infection

Precise diagnosis & measurement

Good surgery begins with good measurement. Every eye is examined and measured on imported, calibrated instruments before any decision is made.

    Carl Zeiss — Germany

    Slit Lamp

A powerful, magnified examination of the front of your eye — cornea, lens and the cataract itself — so nothing is missed.

  2. 02

    Carl Zeiss — Germany

    Applanation Tonometry

The gold-standard way to measure the pressure inside your eye — the key screening test for glaucoma.

  3. 03

Optical Biometry — IOL Master 700

A no-touch scan that measures your eye to calculate the exact power of your new lens (IOL), for a sharper result.

  4. 04

    Alcon — USA

    Biometer

A second set of surgical measurements, cross-checking the lens calculation for added accuracy.

  5. 05

    Topcon — Japan

    Ophthalmometer

Maps the curvature of your cornea — essential for planning astigmatism correction and toric lenses.

  6. 06

    Topcon — Japan

    Autorefractometer

A quick, objective reading of your refractive error — the starting point for an accurate glasses prescription.

  7. 07

    Heine — Germany

    Retinoscope

A hands-on refined check of your refractive error, especially valuable for children and those who cannot respond easily.

  8. 08
